Rave Reviews Book Club (RRBC)

Hello, and welcome to my RRBC page. If you’re a writer, pull up a cyber seat and stay a while.

RRBC stands for the Rave Reviews Book Club, a group of indie authors and small press authors who have banded together to create a phenomenal network of support.

The brainchild of author Nonnie Julies, RRBC is founded on the principal that the best way for authors to succeed is not by promoting themselves but by promoting others. If you’re scratching your head trying to figure out exactly how that works, take a look at my post Let’s Talk Book Clubs. It explains the concept of RRBC in a nutshell. There’s really no secret—it’s about writers helping other writers and garnering amazing friendships along the way.

  • Had numerous purchases of my books made by other members of the club
  • Had numerous reviews written on my books by other members of the club
  • Had one of my titles (MYTH AND MAGIC) featured as a “Book of the Month”
  • Been a guest on a Rave Reviews blog radio show
  • Been invited to guest on three other radio shows (daily work commitments kept me from following through on those)
  • Participated in an amazing block party tour that sent the traffic on my blog into the stratosphere
  • Picked up new followers to my blog
  • Made many new friendships in the process!

  • Discovered many new authors through the club
  • Discovered many new books through the club
  • Discovered many new blogs through the club
  • Have experienced a wonderful sense of community, shared by so many uber-supportive RRBC authors
  • Have enjoyed blog tours, giveaways, fun books-of-the-month and many other goodies RRBC organizes for its members throughout the year
  • Made many new friendships in the process!

You’ll find several posts on my blog related to RRBC, including Having a Book of the Month with Rave Reviews Book Club, but most importantly, don’t miss Let’s Talk Book Clubs. I’ve searched for something like RRBC for a looong time, testing out multiple clubs. None of them have the backbone of support that RRBC does.

It’s not about me…it’s about us!

    • Hi, Rob. I’m pleased to spread the word about this fantastic club and all the friends I’ve made as a result. Thanks for checking out the page and for your kind words. I know we do posts now and then on RRBC but I thought why not have a stand alone page I can update? That way there’s always information available to the followers of my blog! 🙂

  1. Beautiful, Mae. One of the greatest gifts of the Club for me is meeting other writers through the community of authors who make up the Club. I’m inspired every day! Thank you for sharing your experience, Mae….
