What reviewers and readers are saying about MYTH AND MAGIC:
“My daughter recommended this book to me because she knows I love a good mystery. This book really did suit my taste. The characters were well-developed and I was drawn into their world so much so that when I finished the book, I felt like I had lost some friends. I miss them. This author is now on my radar and I’ll definitely check out more of her books.”

“It’s no coincidence that “Mae Clair” rhymes with “great flair”, because this author clearly had a great flair for description and drama.
Mae Clair has hit her stride with this romantic suspense novel set at a haunted hotel at Halloween time. A pro at setting mood, Clair brought me right into her world. Sights, smells, character feelings, it was all there as odd things begin happening at Stone Willow Lodge and manager Veronica must get to the bottom of it or else see the Lodge permanently closed.
…Every character is given realistic problems they must overcome. Even the secondary characters are fleshed-out and complex in all the right ways. Once the book was done, I had a hard time not thinking about the mystery presented and the lovable characters.
…This one is a keeper for me. I’ve already recommended it to my friends and family and can’t wait to talk about it with them!
If you like mood-setting description, edge-of-your-seat suspense, and swoon-worthy romance, You Gotta Read Mae Clair’s Myth and Magic.”

“WOW!! What an amazing book! There are not a lot of books that just grab me like Mae Clair’s Myth and Magic did. It was everything a book should be.
Myth and Magic had drama, suspense, betrayal, denial, family dynamics, small town interactions, neighborhood grudges, redemption, forgiveness, love, passion and a wonderful mystery.
…Myth and Magic is like a black and white film noire movie.. Rich in texture and nuance. The romance builds and you can almost see the fog slowly start to rise, covering the story in a veil of well myth and magic.. Just brilliant.

“I feel so lucky to have received this ARC for review. It was such a brilliant change to other novels I have read lately.
The balance of all “ingredients” for a good romance novel was near perfection. There was enough “steam” between the leads, without being overwhelming. The mystery was present and made me wonder until the last pages where to look for the Responsible. I even admit I only got parts of them right in my guessing. The dialogues between the characters were witty, serious and sexy (depending :-D). And all leads were developed deep enough to feel believable.
The background of the story and where the characters “came” from was explained thoroughly, so there were absolutely no holes in the story and nothing the reader could not understand.”
