Thrills, Chills and Spills!

I’m back from vacation! A bit overwhelmed with playing catch-up, but I hope to be back in the swing of things soon. Right now, I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you about an uber-fab giveaway taking place. I’m a HUGE mystery/thriller/suspense fan, so this one is right up my alley.

Felony Fiction has put together a giveaway for a $100 Amazon gift card. Just thinking about $100 worth of books has me doing mental cartwheels! Best of all, entering is easy and free. You can sign up HERE, then choose a few authors to follow on Bookbub. Easy peasy! You’ll be entered in the drawing, plus notified when any of the authors you follow has a new release (BTW, I’m on BookBub, and would love to have you follow me).

I’ve become very impressed with BookBub as of late, and intend to start using it more for sharing book recommendations and posting reviews. I usually post reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, but BookBub seems to have a softer, kinder approach than GR. I also like the way I can add favorite books, and see myself putting a lot of effort into growing my following there.

Don’t forget to enter the giveaway and I’d be delighted if you’d follow me while on BookBub! 🙂

  1. Welcome back, Mae! I hope you’re refreshed from your vacation. Thanks for the low down on the contest.
BookBub… I’ve never investigated, but people seem to like it. There are so very many more things I should be doing for indie publishing… But work takes all my energy. And I read too slowly to think about adding book reviews to what I do.
I’m sure Raven was happy to have you home. Hugs!

    • Hi, Teagan! The vacation was wonderful, but boy did I miss Raven. And she’s been glued to my side since I got back, LOL.

I’ve been exploring BB a lot more, getting to learn the ropes. It seems there’s a lot of emphasis toward it now. I’d love to be more active on GR, but well, there have been known problems there. I’m hoping BookBub is a lot more friendly 🙂

Thanks for the welcome back! Hugs!

    • Hi, Denise. Thanks for the welcome back. I can kinda/sorta see some light at the end of the catch-up tunnel, LOL. I’m slowly getting back in the grove.

So great to hear you entered the contest. I need to get my act in gear with BookBub, too. Right now I’ve been taking slow steps, but I am enjoying my time there. 🙂

    • BookBub seems to be the “it” place for authors lately, Noelle. I’ve been on there for a while, but am only now starting to utilize it more. Always something new to learn, LOL.

And–wow!–I can wait to see what you think of Cusp of Night. I’m looking forward to your review!

    • Thank you for the welcome back! Vacation was wonderful, but it’s nice to reconnect with all of my friends.

Did you just join BookBub, Soooz? I looked for you there to follow up, but couldn’t find your profile. I know it does take several days for profiles to become active. I will keep checking, my friend. Glad you are there!

      • I discovered I had joined BookBub quite a while ago and had never really looked at the benefits closely. I’ve just changed my username to make myself a little easier to find. You’ll find me under SBurkeAuthor. Now about that finding more hours in a day thing … sigh.

      • Ahh…I just realized why I can’t find you. I tracked you down under “members” not “authors” but your profile is set to private. You need to make it public and set yourself up as an author…..assuming you want to do that 🙂 Just another thing to squeeze into the day, LOL!

      • I received a confirmation only this morning, my friend. Now I have to head over and build my author profile. I do like the look of BookBub. It feels like it could be a really good fit and those winds of change are blowing for me at the moment. Bonus!🐨😊

  5. You’re making it hard for me to take that one relaxing day off. I really need to dive into BookBub. I think transferring my reviews will be the hardest part. Finding my friends shouldn’t be as hard. Glad you got away for a while. It’s so beneficial.
