I’m super jazzed to be visiting my friend John W. Howell today with a post about the practices of mediums in the nineteenth century. I loved the research that factored into my upcoming release, Cusp of Night. And John is a stellar friend, not to mention a great author. I’ve read everything he’s written. I know it is a little odd to see a guest post on the day I usually run a Views of the Neighborhood. Iโve done this for two reasons. 1. My friend Mae Clair is launching a new book and I want to help spread the word. 2. I am in Phoenix this weekend with no opportiunity to capture some sights there.
