Hi, Friends! I’m doing double duty today.
You can find me at Story Empire with a post about how to make the most of using Twitter in conjunction with Twitter Lists and Hootsuite. Hopefully, you’ll find a few tips or tricks that you didn’t know about. Hop over and check it out.
I’m also visiting with Don Massenzio today, answering a ten question interview about my writing habits. Curious? Join me at Don’s blog and see what we’re chatting about.
Also—FYI moment here—I suffered an email meltdown on Thursday evening that lasted through most of Saturday. Far too complicated to explain (and it will only raise my blood pressure). Let’s just say GoDaddy and I aren’t on the best speaking terms right now. I’m missing a lot of email, so if you tried to contact me, you might want to resend. I THINK things are back to normal now.
Loved both your posts!

Sorry about the email fiasco. I’ve been there more than I care to admit. Off to read the posts now…

I spent HOURS on the phone with tech support over the email incident. I’m soooo glad it’s behind me now. Enjoy the posts! 🙂

I couldn’t find your post on Don’s blog. I’ll try again later. Thanks for the info on Hootsuite. I’ve never gotten that organized on twitter yet, but I need to.

Thanks for trying, Judi. I have it linked directly now. I hope the Hootsuite post helps. It really does make Twitter easier.

Ugh! Email problems are the worst. I had a similar “incident” last year, and I still carry the scars. LOL

I hear you, Sue. When email doesn’t work it’s an UGLY business! I barely avoided panic mode.

Both your posts are great, Mae. I love Hootsuite, though so far I’ve mostly used it for Twitter pitch parties. Now I just have to think of things to tweet 😀 Sorry to hear about the email fiasco. GoDaddy? Have you had mostly good or bad experiences (outside of this latest FUBAR) with them? I’m looking into getting a domain (platform, you know 🙂 )

Glad you enjoyed the posts, Julie! As for GoDaddy…..er. I’ve had a domain name with them for years so I had a free pop 3 email account. I had problems with it so they tried to sell me on Office 365 (which I already have through Microsoft). That was a fiasco. Then they switched me to IMAP and I’m still having some server issues. I’m staying with them for now (even though it’s now a pay account), but I’m seriously thinking of switching to G+ Suite. A single domain through them with business email is cheaper than GoDaddy and I like GMail.

Good to know. I never even thought about G+ Suite, but then again I’m not a big Google fan. I’ll have to look into Microsoft’s stuff. Man, there’s a lot to consider!

You have my email if you have questions or I can help in any way. A domain is definitely a good thing to have. I’m probably going to move my site to a paid host this year. I already have one scoped out. Just have to take the time to do it!
