Are you totally jazzed by that title?
Seriously, even if the writer wasn’t my bubbly author friend, Tera Shanley (yeah, bubbly, you heard right…and she’s got a cool zombie romance releasing later this month), I’d be checking out this book based on the title alone. And if you think that’s over the top, take a look at the cover. I love the illuminated “O” around the full moon!
Title: Love in the Time of the Dead
Author: Tera Shanley
Genre: Adult Paranormal/Zombie Romance
Publication Date: October 22, 2013, by Omnific Publishing
SUMMARY
Laney Landry has been fighting Deads alongside her brother and friends for three years. But she has a secret. She’s immune to Dead bites and has to find the right people to trust with the information. Her team rallies around her to find a doctor who can extract a vaccine from Laney which could fight the virus that ended the world.
Sean Daniels leads a colony that provides her team with much needed shelter and supplies. He is obviously interested in Laney. The question is whether he’s only intrigued by her as a source for the possible vaccine, or for something more. Tests for the cure might push her body beyond what it can endure, and just as she faces a ghost from her past, her longtime teammate Derek Mitchell hints at an interest in more than just her Dead slaying abilities.
Two honorable and alluring men – one colossal decision to make. Despite historically bad taste in men, can she rise above the chaos of the apocalypse and choose the one who deserves her heart? The right choice could mean the difference between surviving…and living.

I’ve never read a zombie book before, Donna. Tera’s is going to be my first. Between the cover and the blurb, I couldn’t resist adding it to my TBR list.

I’ll admit, I can’t read the really gory ones. Apocalyptic books have to have a love story to keep my attention, haha. Apocalyptic movies don’t need a love story for me as long as they feature vin diesel 😉

Squeak, thanks Cd! The publisher let me have a lot of say in the main pic that was chosen for the cover, and I was floored when the one they picked was my favorite! Readers will get exactly who this zombie lady is by mid-book 😉 She’s not the heroine, but she’s the cause of a lot of chaos for the men fighting for Laney.

I zeroed in on the O the first time I saw it, but it could be because I’m a moon kind of girl, LOL. Thanks for checking out Tera’s cover reveal!
