Weathering Rock: Six Sentence Sunday 6/3/12

Happy Six Sunday, the first one of June! I’m back sharing another snippet from Weathering Rock, which now has a book trailer should you like to check it out! I loved choosing the music and images to go with the script. It was easy and fun to put together!

Thanks to everyone who has been visiting each Sunday and commenting on my six snippets. The last few weeks have involved an encounter between Caleb (DeCardian) and Arianna (Hart). He’s ticked her off, they run into each other at the library, and he attempts to make amends. At this point, she has no idea who or what he is (you’ll have to see the book trailer for those details :)).

He’s asked her to dinner and she’s bluntly told him she isn’t interested. As she starts to leave, he catches her arm and protests he hasn’t told her what night. My six picks up from there with Arianna speaking first:

“It wouldn’t matter.” His touch left her unbalanced, the familiarity too free for her liking. “I’m busy tonight and tomorrow.”

“Then you pick the night.”

“Excuse me?”

“What night are you free?”

~ooOOoo~

Kudos for authenticity. This same thing happened to me a few months ago, the difference being I was most definitely not interested in the guy. I can’t wait to find out what happens when she has to deal with her attraction. Excellent six!
